The Majestic® Pure
Energy™ balanced-flue fireplace is a genuine
engineering breakthrough. Using a balanced flow
of outdoor air for optimal combustion, it provides for
cleaner sir, both indoors and out, provides and
efficient source of heat, and uses less firewood.
To understand
how PureEnergy works, think of it a vertically
terminated direct-vent fireplace. Its patented,
balanced-flue process uses no indoor air for
combustion. It's designed to draw a controlled
amount of outside air from its air-cooled chimney
system into a sealed firebox, achieving optimum
combustion. This process maintains a low level
of dilution air, allowing the fire to burn hotter and
cleaner with less fuel.
Majestic's
balanced-flue technology helps improve our environment
by producing a cleaner burning fire. Although
fireplaces are exempt from EPA regulations, results
from an EPA-certified laboratory have determined that
this system meets both the federal PM10 emission
standards for noncatalytic woodstoves and the State of
Washington's new standard of 4.5 grams per hour.
The
PureEnergy fireplace eliminates the indoor air-quality
problems associated with conventional fireplaces.
Using an airtight firebox, this fireplace eliminates
negative and positive home pressurization problems,
keeping smoke and flue gasses from being forced into
the room, while eliminating the fireplace flue as a
source of replacement air for the home.
The heating
efficiency of a fireplace is generally a major
concern, since most conventional fireplaces add little
or no heat to the home. With balanced-flue
technology, overall heating performance is improved in
two ways. First, by introducing a balanced flow
of prewarmed air to the fuel, the system creates a
more efficient burn, a hotter fire and more heat.
Second, the airtight firebox eliminates the loss of
heated room air up the flue that also dilutes and
cools the fire temperature. The result: The

comfortable heat
While wood is
considered an excellent, low-cost source of
supplemental heat in many homes across the country,
the PureEnergy fireplace helps conserve this valuable
natural resource. By reducing the amount of
dilution air used in the combustion process, it
extends burning time, reducing wood consumption and
cost.

other sealed-door woodburning products that produce
lazy, smoldering fires, the PureEnergy fireplace still
radiates all the old fashioned charm of a blazing wood

Flexible, Simple to install Chimney
System
The pure Energy fireplace is designed
to use our time-proven eight-inch thermo-siphoning
(triple-wall) chimney system that keeps installation
simple and economical. The triple-wall chimney
is a sealed system that reduces cold-air infiltration
into the home and is ideal for use in northern
climates. The pipe sections and elbows snap
together, so no tools or fasteners are needed.
The system offers a choice of traditional brick look,
contemporary or contemporary chase termination top. |
